A swarm of bees sent a Lake Worth man to the hospital Sunday.
Crime scene tape was the only barrier between a neighborhood and an angry swarm of bees nesting inside the walls of the man’s home on Railroad Avenue.
The man who lived at the home was stung several times and taken to the hospital in serious condition.
Jorge Castillo said his roommate might have aggravated the bees. Castillo said his roommate was drunk and started to “play” with the bees.
Authorities actually had to close Railroad Avenue while they tried to get a handle on the infestation.
